The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Clonmacduff contained the following places:

"CLONMACDUFF, a parish in the barony of Upper Navan, in the county of Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 5 miles to the S.W. of Meath. Navan is its post town. The surface is boggy, and for the most part arable. The roads from Trim to Kells, and Dunderry-Bridge to Athboy pass through the parish. It contains the townships of Courtstown, Meadstown, Moneystown, Little and Great Balardin, and Tullaghanstown. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Meath, value with Ardbraccan, £684, in the patronage of the crown. The parish has neither church nor chapel."
