The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Loughbrackan contained the following places:

"LOUGHBRACKAN, a parish in the barony of Lower Slane, county Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 1 mile S.W. of Drumcondra. It is 3 miles long by 1 mile broad. The soil is fertile and watered by the river Dee and the lake of Loughbrackan. The road from Dublin to Londonderry passes through a portion of the parish. The living is wholly impropriate, and united to Nobber, in the diocese of Meath. Here are ruins of a church.
