The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Rathfeigh contained the following places:

"RATHFEIGH, (or Rathfayght), a parish in the barony of Skreen, county Meath, province of Leinster, Ireland, 8 miles S. of Slane. Dunshaughlin is its post town. The soil is of medium quality. The road from Dublin to Slane crosses the parish. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Meath, value with Skreen, £507, in the patronage of the crown. The church has long been in ruins. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to that of Skreen. There is a private day school.
