"BALLYMACWILLIAM, a parish in the barony of Warrenstown, in King's County, province of Leinster, Ireland, 7 miles to the N.E. of Philipstown. It is a fertile and well-cultivated district, containing a large extent of good pasture land. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Dublin, Glendalagh, and Kildare, of the value of £247, in the gift of the archbishop. There is a school established by Lord Trimleston. There are several seats."
