In 1868, the parish of Grangemockler contained the following places:"GRANGEMOCKLER, (or Nine-mile House), a parish in the barony of Sliveardagh, county Tipperary, province of Munster, Ireland, 7 miles N. of Carrick-on-Suir. The surface is greatly diversified with hill and dale. It is crossed by the Cork and Dublin road. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Lismore. The Roman Catholic chapel is united to that of Kilmurry.
