The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Ballingly contained the following places:

"BALLINGLY, a parish in the barony of West Shelmaliere, in the county of Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 12 miles to the S.W. of Wexford. It is situated on the coast of the Irish Channel. The living is a perpetual curacy united with the rectory of Horetown, in the diocese of Ossory, Ferns, and Leighlin.
