In 1868, the parish of Killila contained the following places:

"KILLILA, a parish in the barony of Ballaghkeen, county Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 4 miles S.S.E. of Oulart. Enniscorthy is its post town. The parish is 2 miles long by 1 mile broad. The surface lies near the coast, and consists generally of a good soil. The road from Wexford to Dublin passes near the village. The living is a curacy in the diocese of Ferns. There are a Roman Catholic chapel and two hedge-schools in the parish. Castle Talbot is the principal residence.
