In 1868, the parish of Killincooly contained the following places:

"KILLINCOOLY, a parish in the barony of Ballaghkeen, county Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 4 miles E.N.E. of Oulart. Gorey is its post town. The surface extends over a considerable area, and is generally level. Part of the village of Ford is within the limits. The soil is fertile. The living is an impropriate curacy in the diocese of Ferns. Wells Abbey is an attractive demesne.

"FORD, a village in the parishes of Kilmuckridge and Killincooly, barony of Ballaghkeen, county Wexford, province of Leinster, Ireland, 2 miles S.W. of Oulart."
