The library has a Family History Room which houses a small local collection of genealogical and historical interest.
There are film and fiche readers (for which booking is advised).
Computer terminals allow free access to ancestry.co.uk (for library members), the Scran collection of photographs, and the Statistical Accounts for Scotland.
There is no Local History Librarian and no research help can be provided by library staff.
You can download lists of newspapers, directories, and valuation rolls held by Fife Council libraries.
