"LLANFIHANGEL CWMDU, a parish in the hundred of Crickhowell, county Brecon, 4 miles N.W. of Crickhowell, its post town, and 7 S.E. of Brecknock. It is situated at the base of the Black mountains, and is watered by a tributary of the river Usk. The Roman road Via Julia Montana passed through the parish, which includes the townships of Blayney, Cenol, Cilwych, and Tretower. The living is a rectory in the diocese of St. David's, value £340.
