Norfolk: Loddon - Land Tax - 1820

Hide

Loddon raised taxes at various times to support its poor and pay for other parish expenses. This was based upon the value of property which was owned by people living in and outside the parish.

This is part of the Norfolk Record Office document [with the reference PD 595/183 and microform MF722/9] and is the Assessed Land Tax for half a Year to Michaels 1820. The amount of tax to pay was only included for some people on the original (but have all been omitted here).
This document is from the Loddon Tax account book for assessed taxes 1817-1826 and game certificates 1817-1824.
