The National Gazetteer of Great Britain and Ireland - 1868

In 1868, the parish of Monamintra contained the following places:

"MONAMINTRA, a parish in the barony of Gaultiere, county Waterford, province of Munster, Ireland, 4 miles S.S.E. of Waterford, its post town. It is 1 mile long, and a little better than half a mile in breadth. The soil is generally poor. The road from Waterford to Ballymacaw crosses the parish. The living is a rectory in the diocese of Waterford, value with others, £22, in the patronage of the bishop. There is a chalybeate spring within the limits of the parish.
