The index below reflects the way information is organised on these pages. There is one page for each of the Anglican parishes or chapelries which existed around the year 1830. Information relating to more recently formed parishes and for non-conformist churches will be found on the pages appropriate to their locations. A place-name index and a much more complete index (65 kbytes) of parishes and churches are also provided which include pointers to the correct parish pages. A map of the county is also available; owners of Netscape 2 or Microsoft Internet Explorer 3 (or later versions) can use this to select the required parish pages.
